Muay Thai (arguably the most effective form of fighting on earth) is a close combat sport using the entire body as a single unit weapon. It is also known as a sport of eight weapons because it combines punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes to create eight points of contact – as opposed to boxing which has two points of contact (two fists), or kickboxing which has four points (two feet and two fists).
